The Ondo State Election Petition Tribunal, saddled with the task of handling the complaints emanating from the October 2020 governorship poll in the state, has fixed judgment for the 21st of April, 2021.
The case instituted by the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Eyitayo Jegede against the All Progressive Congress (APC), her candidate in the October 10 gubernatorial election, Gov. Rotimi Akeredolu, his running mate, Lucky Aiyetiwa and the electoral umpire (INEC) draw it strength from the constitutional mishap allegedly caused by the second respondent (APC) in the sponsorship of the third and fourth respondent (Rotimi Akeredolu and Lucky Aiyedatiwa).
The respondents through the lawyer have put up their defense as contained in their final written addresses.
The Justice Umar Abubakar led panel set to declare their judgement after thorough examination of the evidence before it.
